Astrobot Progress Update

Just posted on twitter how things are going with Astrobot. Been slaving away on the web store. 

I dont totally love the store option I’m going with but I’m so close to done just going to stick with it for now. No sense in jumping ship to another platform I probably wont love either when I dont have any product for sale yet. None the less frustrating. Way to many ecommerce options out there too. Hard to figure out exactly what you need.

Once this is done though and I get shirts in I’m going to start researching again on ecommerce options and re do the whole thing exactly the way I want. 

Trying to reprogram my brain to take the just get it up and tweak it instead of making it perfect first mentality. I’ve always been make it perfect, it never is perfect, and that approach has kept me from doing a lot of things I’ve wanted to do. I think I’d rather seem more real and like an every day guy to you guys by putting up a site that isn’t perfect in my eyes than never putting it up at all. 

Then there’s this whole contest thing where I’m giving some shirts away that people are asking for already haha. So there is little time to waste. The contest has been a good motivating factor for everything too. It’s forced me to sort of nail in some dates to shoot for. That said, I have so much that has to be done, and so much I want to do, I’m not sure how I’ll get it all done. That’s life isn’t?

Anyway, back to the grind stone. Need to eat and finish some more stuff on the site!
