Google+ Invite Contest!
So, one of my web buddies was awesome enough to give me an invite to Google+. I’m logged in as we speak. I’ve attached a screen shot of the admin if you don’t believe me for some reason. It pays to be a web nerd and have web nerd friends :).

So It occurred to me that these invites are in very high demand and that as a young brand without even any merch to sell just yet, I still need to get word out.
Some of you may already know that I’m running a contest where I’ll be giving away 4 free shirts and there are 4 ways you can enter to win. Each entry increases your odds of winning.
- Sign up for the newsletter
- Like on Facebook
- Follow on Twitter
- Follow on Tumblr.
One lucky person will be selected at random from each of those 4 categories. The selection will not be made by me to ensure it’s all fair. In the mean time however, since I dont have the shirts in yet, I thought it would be a good idea to run the same contest I described above, but for the Google+ invites.
So to break it down as simply as possible. If you sign up for the newsletter, like on facebook, follow on twitter and follow on tumblr, you’re not only in the running to get a Google+ invite, but you’ll also be eligible to win a shirt. I’m having a 3rd party pick the shirt winners at a later date so there’s even the insane chance you could win both! That would be crazy.
I’m not sure how many Google+ invites I have. I just heard 8, I thought I read 15 earlier today. No clue.
So that’s that!
Astrobot is doing everything possible to hook you up with free stuff, just requires a tiny bit of participation.
PS - The shirt giveaways wont be for a little bit as I’m still getting squared away but the Google+ invites will be done with moderate haste. so don’t delay!
Thanks everybody!

6/30/11 Update :
So I logged into Google+ at work and the icon to send out invites is gone and I haven’t sent any invites yet. A friend sent out about 10 invites and only 4 made it in and I read that there may be a per hour limit. Regardless, since there’s no set number of invites that you have like there was in Gmail, I can only assume that getting and sending invites is going to be spotty for a while. How many I’ll be able to give out and when i’ll be able to give them out is up in the air at the moment. But, when the icon pops up, I’ll be sure to send some out.
